Are there changing facilities and toilets?
Yes – The Watersports centre building features new male and female changing rooms, which each include both showers and bathrooms. These are regularly cleaned, disinfected and maintained by both Willen Lake staff, as well as a designated cleaning team throughout the day. Please respect social distancing when using the buildings indoor facilities.
Where do I leave my belongings?
‘Bring your own padlock’ style lockers are available for use underneath the balcony stairs adjacent to our venue desk. We advise where possible all valuables are removed from bags and stored somewhere safe as we cannot take responsibility for any items lost or stolen.
I have misplaced my belongings, is there a lost property box?
Any items left at the venue will be held for two weeks before being given to charity or in the case of goggles and hats, added to our ‘borrow bag’ for swimmers to use if they have forgotten kit or do not have their own.
Are there showers?
Yes – The upstairs changing rooms on the left (Doors 1 and 2), contain showers which swimmers can use.
Disabled access
We do have a number of swimmers with various disabilities who come to swim with us. However due to the range of disabilities that people face, it is difficult for us to access if the water is accessible for all. We would encourage the individual to come down and have a look for themselves. We are also on site to help in any instance and will do our best to accommodate everyone who wishes to swim with us.
