A NOWCA safety wristband is issued to all NOWCA members and can be used at any accredited NOWCA site across the country. The wristband contains an RFID chip and holds information supplied upon your registration about emergency contacts, health conditions and contact details. The wristband must be scanned when you enter the water and exit the water. You can also log your distance for the swim and this information is kept on your profile. The band is yours to keep.
