Are there changing facilities and toilets?
Changing facilities are currently not available. We ask that customers either arrive on site either ready to swim or prepared to change outside (changing robes are useful for privacy and double up as a towel). Please make sure to use the bathroom before leaving for your swim as toilets are not currently available on site.
Where do I leave my belongings?
Ordinarily there will be a bagdrop area at the venue where all belongings are left and monitored, however we advise where possible all valuables are removed from bags and stored somewhere safe as we cannot take responsibility for any items lost or stolen. Under Covid-Safe protocols, markers will indicate where people can leave their bags to ensure separation of belongings.
I have misplaced my belongings, is there a lost property box?
Any items left at the venue will be held for two weeks before being given to charity or in the case of goggles and hats, added to our ‘borrow bag’ for swimmers to use if they have forgotten kit or do not have their own.
Are there showers?
We have simple outdoor camping style shower bags for members to use to wash off after their swim.
Disabled access
We do have a number of swimmers with various disabilities who come to swim with us. However due to the range of disabilities that people face, it is difficult for us to access if the water is accessible for all. We would encourage the individual to come down and have a look for themselves. We are also on site to help in any instance and will do our best to accommodate everyone who wishes to swim with us.
